About Les Correia
Les Correia is a thought leader who is a member of Estée Lauder’s Enterprise Cybersecurity and Risk team. He wears many hats with a mission of protecting Estée Lauder’s critical assets from the risk of a security breach.
Before joining Estée Lauder, he held Senior/Advisory roles providing thought leadership at AT&T, Lucent, INS (now BT Professional services), Vis.align/Forté, Mannai, Digital, and numerous other organizations in the US, Canada, Qatar, Germany, Brazil, and India.
Previous roles have also encompassed systems analysis, programming, systems/network integration, project/engagement support, IT strategy assessments, service/methodology development, security practice startup, and business to technical alignment reviews.
He is regularly invited to speak at various security conferences (and podcasts) as a thought leader, has written several security papers, and contributed to/co-authored several security books.
He serves on university cybersecurity advisory boards and continues to broaden his knowledge pursuing certifications, professional development, and training in the field. His certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, CIPP, GCFA, GLEG, NSA-IAM/IEM, CCSK, COBIT, CEH, CSWAE, ITIL Expert, Six Sigma Green belt, PMP, and a few vendor-related.
He holds an MSc in Cyber Security from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. He also holds several advanced credits/Graduate certificates – MBA essentials, Law of Data Security & Investigations, Cyber Security, Telecommunications, and Software Development.
During his free time, he participates in various Security Hacker/Law Enforcement/User forums while also enjoying flying aircraft, motor racing, and mountain climbing. He is also serving an officer with US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla.
