Assaf Afek-Levy

Assaf is currently CISO at GFL Environmental, one of North America’s largest environmental services and waste management providers. Previously Assaf led the Cyber and Information Security team at Altus Group, a global provider of software and services to the real estate industry, and prior to that held numerous progressive Cyber Security positions at various financial institutions, as well as boutique consulting firms.

Assaf also taught a Cyber Security class in a continuous education program at Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson University at the time) for six years, mentoring both new and veteran cyber security professionals.

Assaf is a CISSP in good standing for more than 20 years, and also holds CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, CISA and CRISC certifications.
