About Guillermo Quintana
Guillermo Quintana joined Fanatics Inc in 2014 and is currently the Vice President of Infrastructure and Platform Engineering leading a global team of 120 engineers that are responsible for all on-premise infrastructure, cloud engineering and platforms services leveraged by Fanatics to support their Vertical Commerce business.
Prior to joining Fanatics, Guillermo held the position of Director of DevOps at Williams-Sonoma where he lead DevOps, Performance Engineering and Quality Engineering functions to support their eCommerce Platform. During his time at Williams-Sonoma, Guillermo established both a DevOps Program and as well as Performance Engineering and Application Security functions. Guillermo held a number of positions during his tenure at Williams-Sonoma that ranged from Project Manager, Technical lead and Infrastructure Architect prior to moving to a leadership role in 2008.
Prior to joining Williams-Sonoma, Guillermo was a technical support lead at UPS across both Air and Ground Hubs in Oakland for 4 years while pursuing a Computer Science Degree at Cal-State East Bay.
During his 22 year career, Guillermo has actively participated in a number of technical advisory boards across both pre and post IPO companies such as Keynote, AppDynamics, Akamai, SOASTA, Imperva and Nutanix. His technical experience through both private and public companies across a number of distinct areas such as Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Performance Engineering, Compliance and Enterprise Software.
